I was searching high and low for the prefect pair of black skinny jeans. I didn’t want one of those jeans that are so stiff, they hurt when you sit. Or those that are filled with holes and rips. I was so desperate and so sad that I couldn’t find the pair! The one! Until I stumbled upon Free people at The Bay….then I thought to myself, why didn’t I ever check this brand out? I always heard co-workers and friends talk about Free People, but I never really cared much for it. But now, I so do! I am converted! These jeans are the bomb! They fit like a glove and they’re so comfortable. I am so picky when it comes to denim/jeans. I am very particular and I don’t like jeans that would last me 1 wash…(*cough*cough*American Apparel). I like them to fit me perfectly and I know that it’s hard for me to find a pair that fits everywhere because of my shape. I have a small waist in comparison to my hips…so it’s kinda hard to have jeans that don’t pucker at the waist.
The Cindy High Rise Skinny tight enough to hold everything in place, but not too tight you look like a sausage. There’s still some room to move and breathe. I got them on sale for 68$ CAD but they run for 88.40$ CAD at the moment. They’re super worth every dollar. The fit, the fabric and the feel are the reason why this would be considered as an investment piece!
So..obviously, I need to take a moment and brag about this 80s leather jacket I own. It cost me a huge 29⊄! It’s honestly a very beautiful piece for its age. Super in good shape! And the fact that it’s black makes it even cooler; you can totes mix it and match it to anything in your cloest! ANNNDDD, dress it up or down. Wear it with a skirt or with pants…TBH, this is the first time I wear it out and I am so glad I did. Everyone who saw it on me loved it ; they all appreciated its beauty and its rarity. I would like to take a moment and show this baby off!
It’s so pretty! EEEEEeee! I feel so badass wearing it! Kinda like Ponyboy in The outsiders. Very “Greaser” like. Like I belong to some kinda gang and I’m ready for a rumble. Can you tell it’s my favorite book? I ready it like 99 times. Anyway, back to this jacket. I love it because it’s so feminine despite the fact that it’s a leather biker jacket. Also, the closing system is cool and it does a little flare in the back when it’s closed; super girly and cute!
I combined these 2 gorgeous items with a floral silk Nygard shirt to avoid it looking too too harsh and paired the whole this my favorite leopard Zara booties.
What I wore in details:
-Mustard veil from Voile Chic.
-80s leather jacket.
-Nygard floral shirt.
-Free People skinny jeans.
-Zara leopard booties.
So, if you are looking for the prefect pair of high waisted skinnies, then Free People is your wing store! You’ll surely find the perfect fit for you. For the quality, the price is pretty reasonable. You won’t regret it…
Stay gold everyone!
