My summer scent

I adore every perfume Atelier Cologne put out, they all have a je ne sais quoi! They’re rich scents that last for days. They’re super decadent, opulent and every kind of luxurious out there…sadly they’re pricey and this is why I just like to smell them from far…well until I gave in 2 years ago and bought the Figuier Ardent for the Collection Azur from Atelier Cologne.

It’s a unisex scent which definitely makes it the perfect summer scent. It’s my go to summer scent because of the beautiful fig notes in there. It’s zesty and just sharp, that’s the only way I can describe this. I bought this at Sephora for 130$ CAD and I still have loads of it left.

This is how it’s described on the website:

A completely unexpected experience inspired by ingredients from regions where water and sky become one, Figuier Ardent is a woody and floral fragrance with notes of fig leaf from Provence, bergamot from Calabria, and cedarwood from Virginia. The sumptuous floral opens to reveal a peppery heart reminiscent of dappled spring woods, magical and secret.

Now this might not last all day like my Marc Jacobs perfume, but it’s good enough for 8 hours ish. I feel sophisticated and carefree when I wear it. Makes me feel powerful and free-spirited (more that I already am).

They sell different sizes and even roller ball sizes and this might be perfect for those wanting to try something new without breaking the bank. I personally do not like the roller ball perfumes because I find the scent a little deceiving from the big format one..it’s as if it doesn’t smell the same. Anyway, that’s just me.

So that’s that…ttyl!

Cheers xx
