Simply simple

IMG_5217

I tried a couple of cleansers to gently remove my makeup…since having sensitive skin; everything I have been trying either caused me eczema or burned my eyeballs. And I don’t like the oil removing cleansers. I tried Klorane, Bioderma, Neutrogena, Vichy and loads more…but they either burned me or made me breakout. I heard a lot about Simple and I thought I have nothing to lose if I tried it out. This Simple Micellar Water Cleanser won me over because there is no alcohol content and contains niacinamide. Niacinamide is good towards fading hyperpigmentation – it also helps prevents skin from losing water content and it stimulates microcirculation in the dermis.

None of the other micellar waters I have used have this as a vital ingredient. Since my skin has been acting very dry lately…I noticed that this makes my skin feel normal, clean, hydrated and healthy. Usually I hesitate on what I apply on my face, but this makes me feel safe to reapply it when necessary. I use it both morning and night, and also as a make-up and eye make-up remover and it does the job thoroughly. Takes about 1-2 round cotton pads to clean my whole face (if I wear heavy make-up..which is very rare).

This is definitely a staple product to have around and I will definitely repurchase this. They’re not expensive and sometimes they even go on special-2 for 1.

Micellar Cleansing Water is best for normal to dry or sensitive skin. And this fragrance-free formula is gentle and doesn’t bother oily or breakout-prone skin. Since this is meant to be left on skin, it’s good that it contains a couple of anti-irritants plus the cell-communicating ingredient niacinamide.

Here’s what I like about it:
Fragrance-free, mild formula.
Unlikely to irritate skin or cause sensitivity.
Contains anti-irritants.
Inexpensive.

Have you guys tried it and what do you think about this cleanser?
